Kitchen deep cleaning near Watermill

Kitchen deep cleaning for kitchens and businesses in Watermill

Across Watermill, we deep clean restaurant and pub kitchens, hotel kitchens, school kitchens and more, whatever the size of the operation. We agree what’s included before the visit and quote a fixed price. Typical jobs include a new kitchen tenant inheriting a dirty kitchen and greasy, darkened kitchen ceilings, across behind and under equipment, ranges and ovens and fryers and grills.

For a kitchen in or near Watermill, the visit is planned ahead, around opening times and the journey, and the deep clean is the same as anywhere: walls, floors, ceilings and equipment.

Nothing is signed off by word of mouth: a dated report with photos of the work, and for TR19® Grease cleans, a certificate issued through the BESCA VHE portal. Any parts we couldn’t reach are recorded on it too.

How we price kitchen deep cleaning

The diagnosis comes before the price. The main factors are:

  • Whether it’s a one-off visit or part of a schedule
  • The times the site is available
  • What state the system is in
  • Site rules, permits and inductions

Combining work into one visit or one programme often makes better use of the time. Mention every system or site you need covered, and you’ll get one fixed quote.

What we need to know

Photos let us diagnose from a distance. The most useful are:

  • Any previous report or certificate
  • Detail shots of panels, filters and grilles
  • The site address and the type of premises
  • Wide photos of the system and the area around it

To help us quote: where the site is, what it is and its opening hours, pictures of the system and the last certificate or report, if there is one. Then ring 0345 646 2711 or drop us a line.

The process

Before we leave, we walk the area with whoever is on site. Anything we couldn’t reach or that needs attention is pointed out there and then, and it goes on the report too. All told, the work takes one overnight or weekend visit for many kitchens, longer for large sites. If you can send photos, we can arrive in Watermill knowing what to expect.

  1. First, we walk the kitchen with you and agree the scope.
  2. Appliances are switched off to cool while we protect the areas that need it.
  3. We work from the top down, starting with ceilings and walls.
  4. We clean the cooking equipment and the spaces behind and under it.
  5. We finish with the floors and leave the kitchen ready to use.

How to prepare

  • Find the previous report, if there is one
  • Tell us the best time to work, such as after service or at a weekend
  • Mention any locked doors, roof access or ceiling voids

Getting a quote

We don’t publish a price list, because every site is different. Instead, we look at your site first, from pictures or a survey, then send a fixed quote. To get going, call us on 0345 646 2711 or drop us a line.

Will you come out to Watermill?

Can you come to Watermill after we close?

Yes, we can come after you close and finish before you open. Your customers, staff or residents in Watermill needn’t be disturbed. Just ring 0345 646 2711 or send us an email with your opening times and we will plan around them.

Can you clean the extract at the same time?

Yes. We can plan both on the same visit or over consecutive visits, depending on the size of the job.

Which accreditations do you hold?

CHAS, SafeContractor, ISO 9001 and BESCA Vent Hygiene Elite membership, cleaning to BESA TR19® Grease. We are fully insured and have been trading since 2009.

Yes, always. It’s a dated, written report with pictures, plus a certificate via the BESCA Vent Hygiene Elite portal for TR19® Grease cleans. Keep it in your maintenance log.

Do you offer maintenance contracts?

Yes. Send details of the systems and how they’re used and we’ll propose a schedule with a fixed quote.

Do you work with multi-site operators?

Is there anything we have to do beforehand?

Clear food and small items from surfaces. Cooking equipment needs to be switched off and allowed to cool before we start.

Kitchen deep cleaning in Watermill: local notes

Where they run a kitchen, it needs the same deep cleaning and grease trap care as any restaurant. Food hygiene inspections in Watermill are the job of Rother council’s environmental health team. An inspection covers the structure of the kitchen as well as the food. A record of each deep clean helps show the kitchen is kept in order.

Different parts, different methods

Behind and under equipment

Debris under the line is a draw for pests. Clearing it out is a core part of a deep clean.

Walls and ceilings

Ceilings above the cooking line often darken with grease. They’re cleaned as part of the deep clean using methods suited to the surface.

Leave it or put it right?

Food debris and grease in hidden corners can draw pests in. A deep clean takes away the food source and prevention is much easier than cure. A planned visit to Watermill is easier to arrange than an emergency callout.

Working hours, access and the scale of the site can all change the price. Each of those is built into the quote, and the price is fixed before any work starts.

What staff can safely do

If your staff spot something between visits, such as dripping grease, a noisy fan, a smell or a filter that won’t come clean, they should report it rather than try to fix it. We’ll take a look and give you a fixed quote.

Staff cleaning and specialist work are not the same thing. A daily filter wipe and a weekly filter wash keep grease down at the front of the system, but they do not reach the grease that builds up further in. That part needs specialist access and equipment.

Landlords, agents and facilities managers

We work for landlords, managing agents and facilities managers as well as the people running the site. Shared systems, like a riser serving several units, need a clear agreement on who books the work, and we’re happy to quote for all of it.

When the building owner and the occupier are different, the lease normally sets out who maintains what. We can quote either party, and the report can go to both.
