Stanmer kitchen deep cleaning
Kitchen deep cleaning for Stanmer and the surrounding area: diagnosis first, then a fixed quote, the work and a report with pictures. Call for a fixed quote.
- A kitchen that needs a clean start
- A kitchen getting ready for an environmental health visit
- Build-up behind fryers and ovens
What your team can do, and what needs us
Staff cleaning doesn’t replace a specialist visit; it supports it. Regular in-house cleaning slows the build-up, but the parts you cannot see still need a specialist at the right interval.
Keep a record of what your team does. A simple log of filter washes, wipe-downs and checks helps show that the system is managed between specialist visits, alongside our reports.
Kitchen deep cleaning in Stanmer
Environmental health officers inspect the cleanliness of the whole premises. Greasy walls, dirty ceilings and grime behind equipment all count. A deep clean puts the whole kitchen in good order whenever it’s needed. The work covers ranges and ovens, walls and ceilings and stainless steel surfaces, and common reasons people get in touch are grime behind and under cooking equipment and a kitchen clean booked with the extract clean.
Work in a small place like Stanmer starts with agreeing a date and access, and the deep clean is the same as anywhere: walls, floors, ceilings and equipment.
Our accreditations include CHAS, SafeContractor and ISO 9001, and we’re fully insured. We’re also a BESCA Vent Hygiene Elite member, cleaning to BESA TR19® Grease, and we have been trading since 2009.

The process
Your trading hours come first. We book the visit for a time the area is closed, whether that is an evening, overnight or a weekend. When the team arrives, the work area is protected and the relevant equipment is switched off to cool, and the work takes several hours, depending on the kitchen and the equipment in it. Pictures of the system and its access let us plan the work in Stanmer before we set off.
- A pre-clean look round tells us what’s needed.
- We protect what needs protecting and make equipment safe.
- We degrease the ceilings, walls and cooking equipment.
- We clean the spaces behind and beneath the equipment.
- The floor is cleaned and the kitchen left ready for service.
How to prepare
- Make sure someone can let us in and lock up afterwards
- Plan for cooking equipment or plant to be off before we arrive
- Mention any locked doors, roof access or ceiling voids
Ask for a quote
Some systems can be priced from pictures; others need a survey. Big or complicated sites, and systems that are hard to see in pictures, get a survey first. Either way, the quote is fixed before any work is booked.
Advice
When to call us in Stanmer
Food debris falls behind and under equipment. Combined with grease, it becomes the kind of mess pests like if it is not cleared.
Look out for any of the following:
- Grime in corners that pests could exploit
- Preparation for an EHO inspection
- A whole-kitchen clean while the extract is cleaned
- A kitchen that needs a clean start
Half-term is a good time for school kitchens, at schools like Coldean Primary School for instance, to have the grease trap emptied and the kitchen deep cleaned.
What to look for in a quote
- What’s included in the scope, part by part
- What paperwork you get at the end
- Whether a survey comes first
- What happens if part of the system can’t be accessed
Multi-site and managed buildings
From a single site to a large estate, you get the same standard: the system surveyed, the price fixed, the visit fitted around trading and everything written up afterwards.
We work for landlords, managing agents and facilities managers as well as the people running the site. Shared systems, like a riser serving several units, need a clear agreement on who books the work, and we can quote for the whole system.
What the work involves, part by part
Cooking equipment
Baked-on grease and carbon build up on cooking equipment. We remove them using methods that suit the equipment.
School and care home kitchens
School kitchens can be deep cleaned during the holidays, ready for the new term.
Between visits
To keep the system working properly between visits:
- Pay attention to corners and edges when mopping
- Wipe splashes before they harden
- Keep a cleaning log up to date
- Do not let the extract cleaning slip
Floors are clean and dry by the time we’ve finished. Your team can come in and set up as normal at the start of the next shift.
If you can see grime on the ceiling or behind the range, it’s time. A deep clean at this point stops it getting worse and drawing pests in.
Stanmer kitchens: local notes
Food Standards Agency data counts about 23 cafés, restaurants and staff canteens and about 4 takeaways in and around Stanmer, up to about a mile and a half out. Kitchens like these build up grease behind and under equipment, on walls and on ceilings. It’s Brighton and Hove council that sends environmental health officers to food businesses in Stanmer. Grease behind equipment or on a ceiling is the kind of thing an inspection can note. Having the dates of the last deep clean to hand saves digging for them on the day.
Brighton General Hospital, about 2.7 miles south, is the nearest hospital to Stanmer; healthcare kitchens can’t stop cooking, so deep cleans are worked around meal times. If you run a café or takeaway near Falmer station, a deep clean overnight means the kitchen opens as normal next morning.

Stanmer questions
Is Stanmer within the area you cover?
Yes, we work in villages as well as towns, and Stanmer is covered. Just mention lanes, gates or anything else about the site when you book.
Can you work in school kitchens in Stanmer during the holidays?
Yes. The holidays are the usual time for school work. There are about 3 schools, colleges and universities on the FSA’s food hygiene register within about 1.5 miles of Stanmer. Tell us your holiday dates and we will book the visit for when the site is empty.
What do you do with what you remove?
It leaves the site with us at the end of the visit. While we work, it’s kept contained so the area stays clean.
Can you give me a price for a deep clean?
Size, equipment and the level of build-up all affect the price. Send us pictures or details, or we can visit, and you will get a fixed quote.
What accreditations do you have?
CHAS, SafeContractor, ISO 9001 and BESCA Vent Hygiene Elite membership, cleaning to BESA TR19® Grease. We have been trading since 2009 and we’re fully insured.
Do you recommend a next date?
Yes. Every report includes a recommended date for the next visit, based on what we found and how the system is used.
What do you do to protect the area?
With sheeting and covers, before anything else happens. The work is kept contained and clean down when we finish.
Can you look after several sites?
Yes. Our area covers London and the South East, so we can schedule a run of sites as one programme. Every site has its own report.
When it’s something else
We’d rather tell you now than book work that won’t help, so here are the limits:
- Cracked tiles or damaged wall cladding
- Faults with cooking or refrigeration equipment, which need an engineer
- Grease in the ducts above the kitchen
