Kitchen deep cleaning in Langley Heath, done properly
Kitchen deep cleaning covers the whole room, not just the cooking line: walls, floors, ceilings, and the equipment itself. We clean behind and underneath equipment where it can be moved safely as that’s where grease and food debris gather. Common call-outs are for a new kitchen tenant inheriting a dirty kitchen and baked-on grease on ovens, ranges and grills, across fryers and grills, walls and ceilings and stainless steel surfaces.
Somewhere as small as Langley Heath, the kitchens that need a deep clean are usually a pub, a school, a care home or a hall kitchen, wherever there is one. Wherever there is one, it needs its grease trap and hard-to-reach areas kept clean.
We’ve been trading since 2009, and we’re a BESCA Vent Hygiene Elite member, cleaning to BESA TR19® Grease. CHAS, SafeContractor and ISO 9001 are in place too, and we are fully insured.

Looking after it afterwards
Here’s the after-treatment advice, in brief:
- Deal with spills right away
- Clean the floor edges, not just the middle
- Get cracked tiles and damaged surfaces fixed
- Keep the extract running while you cook
Once it’s deep cleaned, daily cleaning goes further. Keep on top of the daily routine so build-up stays down.
Grease that’s left only gets harder to remove. A deep clean now saves a much bigger job later and keeps the kitchen in shape for an EHO visit.
FAQs for Langley Heath
Can a school kitchen in Langley Heath be done out of term time?
Yes, out-of-term visits are normal for schools. With about 5 schools and colleges on the FSA’s register within roughly a mile and a half of Langley Heath, it pays to plan holiday dates ahead. Just call us on 0345 646 2711, or email photos with your term dates and we will plan around them.
Do you cover smaller places like Langley Heath?
Yes, smaller places are covered as well as towns. Let us know about access, parking and anything unusual about getting there when you book.
What does commercial kitchen deep cleaning cost?
It depends on the size of the kitchen, the equipment and how much build-up there is. We can quote from pictures or a site visit and give you a fixed price.
Which kinds of sites do you work on?
Any site with a kitchen or a ventilation system to look after, from a single café to a large school. Hotels, schools, care homes, offices, shops and leisure sites are all part of our work.
Do inspectors look at how clean the whole kitchen is?
Inspectors look at how clean the whole kitchen is, including equipment. Deep cleaning brings the hidden areas up to standard so the whole kitchen is in good order.
Which areas does a deep clean cover?
It takes in the places daily cleaning doesn’t reach, from high walls and ceilings to the floor under the range. The cooking equipment is cleaned too.
Which records should we keep?
Everything that shows the system is looked after: reports, certificates, photos and your own cleaning or check logs. One maintenance log per site keeps it simple.
Are you accredited?
Duct Doctor is a BESCA Vent Hygiene Elite member, cleaning to BESA TR19® Grease. We also hold CHAS, SafeContractor and ISO 9001, and we’re fully insured.
The process
Protection comes first: floors, worktops and anything near the work are covered. After that, the system is made safe and the work begins. The work on site takes anything from a few hours to a full night, depending on the size of the kitchen, and we clear up before we go. Somewhere as small as Langley Heath, the date and timings are agreed with you well before the day.
- We look at the kitchen with you to plan the clean.
- Areas are protected and equipment is made safe.
- Grease is removed from ceilings, walls and equipment.
- Behind and under the equipment is cleaned where it can be moved safely.
- The floor is cleaned and the kitchen left ready for service.
Preparing for the visit
- Make sure someone can let us in and lock up afterwards
- Mention any parking or loading restrictions
- Clear loose items from the work area

Related advice
Part by part
Canopy exteriors
The canopy is one of the first things people see. Cleaning it with the rest of the kitchen finishes the job properly.
Walls and ceilings
Grease and steam rise and settle on walls and ceilings. They’re cleaned first, working downwards so nothing drips onto clean areas.
Signs you need kitchen deep cleaning in Langley Heath
When the kitchen is flat out, cleaning shrinks to the basics. A few busy weeks in Langley Heath or anywhere else are enough for grime to build in the hard-to-reach places.
What we are most often called out for:
- Grease stains on walls near the cooking line
- A whole-kitchen clean while the extract is cleaned
- A kitchen taken over in poor condition
- Food debris that could attract pests
If you run catering at a healthcare site, such as a hospital like KIMS hospital about 3.9 miles north-west, deep cleans and grease trap visits are planned so meals still go out.
Questions to ask before you book
- What hours they’ll be on site
- Whether the whole system is included, or only the parts that are easy to reach
- Proof of accreditation you can verify
- Whether the price is fixed
How we price kitchen deep cleaning
The diagnosis comes before the price. The main factors are:
- Whether we need access equipment or extra panels
- What state the system is in
- Site rules, permits and inductions
- Travel, parking and unloading
One small site or a whole estate, the quote is built the same way: what needs doing, how we get to it and when. You will have a fixed price before we start.
Asking for a quote
We can often survey from photos. The most useful are:
- Wide photos of the system and the area around it
- Any previous report or certificate
- The times we could work without disrupting the site
- The roof, plant room or outside wall the system runs to
Some systems can be priced from pictures; others need a survey. Larger sites, and anything hidden behind walls, ceilings or floors, are normally surveyed first. Either way, the quote is fixed before any work is booked.

Landlords, agents and facilities managers
Managing agents often deal with us directly. Send the address, what’s needed and how access works, and we’ll send a fixed quote.
Running several sites is easier with one contractor. We work across London and the South East, so visits at different addresses can be planned together and kept on a regular cycle.
What your team can do, and what needs us
Away from the kitchen, the in-house job is mainly checking: keeping grilles clear, noting unusual noise or smells and logging filter changes. The inside of ducts and units needs a specialist.
Staff cleaning and specialist work are not the same thing. A daily filter wipe and a weekly filter wash keep grease down at the front of the system, but they don’t reach the grease that builds up further in. Reaching it takes a specialist with the right equipment.
