Kitchen deep cleaning across Egypt

Kitchen deep cleaning in Egypt

Grease that sits on a surface for long enough is hard to shift with daily cleaning. We use cleaning methods that suit the deposit and the surface and the time to do it properly. Common call-outs are for grease stains on walls near the cooking line and a kitchen taken over in poor condition, across walls and ceilings, fryers and grills and behind and under equipment.

Work in a small place like Egypt starts with agreeing a date and access, and the deep clean is the same as anywhere: walls, floors, ceilings and equipment.

For insurers and inspectors, the record counts. So every job comes with a written report and photos, plus a TR19® certificate through the BESCA VHE portal where the work is a TR19® Grease clean.

What happens on the day

Before we leave, we walk the area with whoever is on site. We point out anything that couldn’t be reached or needs a follow-up, and the same goes into the written report. All told, the work takes one overnight or weekend visit for many kitchens, longer for large sites. A few pictures of the system help us make the most of a visit to a place like Egypt.

  1. We look round the kitchen and agree exactly what’s included.
  2. Cooking equipment is switched off and left to cool, and the area is prepared.
  3. High surfaces are cleaned first so dirt doesn’t fall on clean areas.
  4. We clean the cooking equipment and the spaces behind and under it.
  5. Floors are cleaned last and the kitchen is left ready for the next service.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Let us know how we reach the system, including roofs, risers and plant rooms
  • Agree a time when the area can be out of use
  • Make sure someone can let us in and lock up afterwards

What affects the cost of kitchen deep cleaning

Before we fix a price, we need to know a few things. We check:

  • Whether several sites go on one quote
  • The scale of the work
  • The times the site is available
  • Parking and loading at the site

A single site or a whole portfolio, the quote is built the same way: what needs doing, how we get to it and when. You’ll have a fixed price before any work starts.

What we need to know

Photos let us diagnose from a distance. The most useful are:

  • Where the site is and what kind of site it is
  • The times we could work without disrupting the site
  • Detail shots of panels, filters and grilles
  • Problems your staff have spotted

Some systems can be priced from pictures; others need a survey. Larger sites, and anything hidden behind walls, ceilings or floors, are normally surveyed first. Either way, you get a fixed price before work begins.

What your team can do, and what needs us

Staff cleaning and specialist work are not the same thing. A daily filter wipe and a weekly filter wash keep grease down at the front of the system, but they don’t reach the grease that builds up further in. That part needs specialist access and equipment.

Some jobs should never be done in-house: entering ducts, working on fans, testing dampers and taking grease readings need training, the right equipment and safe access. Leave those to us.

Egypt questions

Do you cover smaller places like Egypt?

Yes. Egypt is within the area we cover across London and the South East. Let us know about access, parking and anything unusual about getting there when you book.

Which council inspects kitchens in Egypt?

The local authority for Egypt is Winchester City council, and its environmental health team does the inspecting. Inspection results feed into the food hygiene rating published by the Food Standards Agency.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, we are fully insured. CHAS and SafeContractor accreditation sit alongside it, for sites that check contractor safety.

How much notice should we give?

Book as early as you can for planned work, especially if the next clean or test is due soon. Emergencies are different, because our line is open 24/7.

Do you offer maintenance contracts?

Yes, of course. Send details of the systems and how they’re used and we will propose a schedule with a fixed quote.

What about areas you cannot get to?

They’re listed in the report, never skipped quietly. You will know exactly which parts weren’t reached and why, along with a quote to put access in.

Can one contract cover all our sites?

Yes. Send the list of sites and the work at each and you’ll get one fixed quote.

When can you do the deep clean?

We fit the clean around your hours. We can come overnight, early or at the weekend, so disruption is kept to a minimum.

Different parts, different methods

Cooking equipment

Baked-on grease and carbon build up on cooking equipment. They’re removed in a way that suits each appliance.

Walls and ceilings

Surfaces close to the range build up grease quickly. They get a thorough degrease, including the joints and edges.

Why act early in Egypt

Staff notice when a kitchen is grimy. Slippery floors and sticky surfaces make the job harder and more tiring. A clean kitchen is safer and easier to run. It’s worth booking a check, because nobody sees inside a duct day to day.

Whatever the type of site, the quote works the same way: how much there is, how we reach it, what state it’s in and when we can work. Ask for a fixed quote and we will explain each part.

Keeping the system healthy

A little care between visits keeps the system in better shape. We recommend:

  • Pay attention to corners and edges when mopping
  • Deal with spills straight away
  • Run the extract whenever the range is on
  • Book deep cleans on a regular cycle

A deep-cleaned kitchen is easier to keep clean. Keep up the routine, especially behind and under equipment where you can so build-up stays down.

A regular plan means build-up never gets out of hand. Combining them with extract cleans covers the room and the system together.

What kitchen deep cleaning looks like in Egypt

The Food Standards Agency lists about 3 hotels and guest houses as registered food businesses within about 1.5 miles of central Egypt. Pub and hotel kitchens get the same build-up behind equipment and in the grease trap as any other. Kitchens in Egypt get their food hygiene inspections from Winchester City council. They look at the cleanliness of the whole kitchen: walls, floors, ceilings and equipment. Photos and dates from each deep clean make a useful record.

A deep clean in Egypt covers walls, floors, ceilings and equipment, done while the kitchen is shut.

When to call us in Egypt

Cooking releases grease with every service. Some is caught by the extract, but some settles on walls, ceilings and equipment. Over weeks and months, it builds into a sticky layer.

What we are most often called out for:

  • A whole-kitchen clean while the extract is cleaned
  • Grime behind and under cooking equipment
  • A clean-up ahead of an inspection
  • Grime in corners that pests could exploit

Where a church or community hall near Ebenezer Methodist Chapel, or anywhere in Egypt, has a kitchen used by volunteers, a periodic deep clean keeps it ready for the next event.

What to look for in a quote

  • If they look at the system before pricing
  • Whether the figure could change on the day
  • Whether a written report and pictures are included
  • How VAT is shown on the quote
