Park Town ventilation duct cleaning
For ventilation duct cleaning in Park Town, one call is all it takes: survey, fixed quote, work and sign-off. Fully insured, with CHAS, SafeContractor and ISO 9001.
- Odours carried round the building by the ducts
- Ducts that need a clean before handover
- Dust marks around grilles and ceiling diffusers
Ventilation duct cleaning for kitchens and businesses in Park Town
Extract ducts from toilets, changing rooms and general areas collect dust and lint. Supply ducts carry anything the filters miss. Both are cleaned, with the area protected and the mess contained. If you’re dealing with damp or stale smells from grilles and systems missing access panels, we can help.
In a place like Park Town, air handling units are often tucked into roof spaces or small plant rooms, where they’re easy to forget. Every unit, large or small, has filters, coils and a drain tray to keep clean.
Duct Doctor has been trading since 2009, as a BESCA Vent Hygiene Elite member, cleaning to BESA TR19® Grease. CHAS, SafeContractor and ISO 9001 are in place too, and we carry full insurance.

How we price ventilation duct cleaning
The quote reflects the site in front of us. We consider:
- Parking and loading at the site
- A single visit or a regular plan
- The scale of the work
- When the work can happen, such as evenings, overnight or weekends
Kitchens, offices, schools and hospitals are all priced the same way: how much there is, how we reach it, what state it’s in and when we can work. Ask for a fixed quote and we’ll go through it with you.
Helping us quote
The more you tell us, the more accurate the quote. When you get in touch, it helps to send:
- Wide pictures of the system and the area around it
- The times we could work without disrupting the site
- Your last certificate, test record or report
- Any symptoms, from odd noises to smells or leaks
Quotes are quick. Call or email with a few details and you’ll normally have a fixed price within one working day. Where a survey is needed, we arrange a time that suits the site.
What staff can safely do
If your staff spot something between visits, like drips, unusual noise, smells or damaged filters, they should report it rather than try to fix it. We can diagnose it and quote.
Some jobs should never be done in-house: opening up ductwork, cleaning fans, drop testing fire dampers and measuring grease call for the right kit, training and safe access. That’s our job.
Park Town: your questions answered
Can you clean school ventilation in Park Town during the holidays?
Yes. Half-terms and the summer break are the natural time for school work. The FSA’s register shows about 88 schools and colleges with food registrations within roughly a mile and a half of Park Town. Just give us a ring on 0345 646 2711, or send details by email with your term dates and we will plan around them.
Can you work in Park Town outside opening hours?
Yes. We work evenings, overnight and at weekends. The site is handed back ready to open. When you call 0345 646 2711, or email photos, mention when the site is quiet.
How long will the duct cleaning take?
It takes anything from a single shift for a small office to a planned programme of nights for a large building. How much ductwork there is and how easily it’s reached decide the rest.
Are grilles and diffusers included?
Yes, along with the ducts behind them. You will see them in the before and after photos.
Do you inspect before cleaning?
Yes. Every job is surveyed first, from photos, drawings or a site visit, then we send you a fixed quote.
Can you look after several sites?
Yes. One number covers all your sites across London and the South East, with visits on a regular schedule.
What if parts of the system cannot be reached?
The report shows them clearly. In ductwork, new access panels are often the answer, and we can fit those.
How much notice should we give?
It depends on the time you need and how big the job is. Mention your preferred dates with your enquiry, and if it’s an emergency, call us any time.
Different parts, different methods
Supply ductwork
Supply runs are inspected at set points first before deciding what to clean.
Schools and colleges
Holidays and weekends are the natural time to clean school ventilation, with nobody in the classrooms.
What ventilation duct cleaning can’t fix
Ventilation duct cleaning can’t fix everything, and we’ll tell you before work begins. It does not solve:
- Kitchen extract ductwork, which needs a TR19® Grease clean
- Condensation caused by the building rather than the ducts
- Damaged ductwork beyond cleaning
If you are not sure, just phone us on 0345 646 2711 or use the quote form and we’ll give you a straight answer.
Parts of the system we cover
- Offices and schools
- Hospitals and care homes
- General extract ductwork
- Grilles and diffusers
- Supply ductwork
- Toilet extract systems
What we do, step by step
The first job on site is protection: floors, worktops and anything near the work are covered. After that, the system is made safe and the work begins. It takes a shift or two for a small system, longer for a whole building, and we clear up before we go. Visits to a place like Park Town are planned ahead, so we arrive with what the survey says the job needs.
- First we plan when the work can happen, often out of hours.
- We open the ductwork through its access panels.
- Before pictures are taken and the ducts cleaned section by section.
- We clean the grilles and diffusers and put them back.
- After photos are taken and the certificate and report issued.
Preparing for the visit
- Dig out any earlier paperwork for the system
- Make sure someone can let us in and lock up afterwards
- Mention any locked doors, roof access or ceiling voids
Getting a quote
There’s no standard price list, because every site is different. Instead, we look at your site first, from pictures or a survey, and then send you a fixed quote. To start, ring 0345 646 2711, or email photos.

What else we do in Park Town
What we are called out for in Park Town
Most ductwork is out of sight, so nobody sees the build-up. Grilles may be wiped, but the ducts behind them rarely are.
Clients normally contact us after spotting one of these:
- Extract ducts clogged with lint and dust
- Ventilation that needs a TR19® Air inspection
- Stuffy rooms and stale air
- Dusty supply ductwork that hasn’t been cleaned in years
Acland Hospital, about within half a mile south, is the nearest hospital to Park Town, and healthcare sites of every size need their supply air kept clean.
What to look for in a quote
- If the quote is a fixed price or an estimate
- Whether a written report and pictures are included
- Whether they’re fully insured
- Whether the work can be done while the site is closed
Park Town buildings and their air

Busy, occupied buildings like these are where clean supply air matters most. Park Town is about 53 miles from central London, well within the area we cover across London and the South East.
