Kitchen deep cleaning in Green End
Environmental health officers inspect the cleanliness of the whole premises. Build-up on walls, ceilings and behind equipment is part of what they see. A thorough deep clean brings every surface up to standard whenever it’s needed. If you’re dealing with build-up behind fryers and ovens and a kitchen taken over in poor condition, we can put it right, from behind and under equipment, stainless steel surfaces and fryers and grills onwards.
Rural kitchens may drain to a septic tank or a private drain rather than straight into a public sewer, and fat getting past a grease trap can cause real trouble there.
Accreditations are easy to claim and worth checking. Ours are BESCA Vent Hygiene Elite membership, cleaning to BESA TR19® Grease, plus CHAS, SafeContractor and ISO 9001, with full insurance on top.

How the job changes from site to site
Walls and ceilings
The ceiling near the cooking line takes the brunt. They’re cleaned as part of the deep clean in a way that suits the finish.
Cooking equipment
Ranges, ovens, grills and fryers are cleaned inside and out once it’s switched off and cooled.
Green End questions
Can the work in Green End be done at night or at weekends?
Yes, nights and weekends are routine for us. That way a site in Green End doesn’t have to lose a day’s trading. Let us know the hours you are closed and we will book within them.
Can a school kitchen in Green End be done out of term time?
Yes. The holidays are the usual time for school work. There are about 2 schools, colleges and universities on the FSA’s food hygiene register within about 1.5 miles of Green End. Tell us your holiday dates and we’ll book the visit for when the site is empty.
What’s included in a kitchen deep clean?
It takes in the places daily cleaning doesn’t reach, from the ceiling down to the floor behind the equipment. The cooking equipment is cleaned too.
How long will the kitchen be out of use?
Typically, a deep clean takes anything from a single evening to more than one visit, depending on the kitchen. A large or heavily soiled kitchen takes longer, and we will tell you how long to expect.
What happens to the waste?
It leaves the site with us when we go. During the work, it’s contained so the area stays clean.
How far ahead should we book?
Book as early as you can for planned work, particularly if your next visit is nearly due. Emergencies are different, because our line is open 24/7.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry full insurance and have been trading since 2009.
Do you survey before quoting?
Yes. Photos often do the job, while bigger or harder-to-see systems are surveyed on site.
What kitchen deep cleaning can’t fix
We will always give you a straight diagnosis, so here’s what this work cannot put right:
- Grease inside the canopy, plenum and ductwork, which needs a TR19 clean
- An infestation that needs specialist treatment
- Faults with cooking or refrigeration equipment, which need an engineer
Not sure which it is? You can ring 0345 646 2711, or send details by email and we’ll tell you honestly.
Parts of the system we cover
- Floors and floor drains
- Walls and ceilings
- Fryers and grills
- Ranges and ovens
- Behind and under equipment
- Stainless steel surfaces
How the visit works
The first job on site is protection: floors, worktops and anything near the work are covered. Then we make the system safe and start. The work on site takes one overnight or weekend visit for many kitchens, longer for large sites, and the area is cleaned down before we leave. Somewhere as small as Green End, the date and timings are agreed with you well before the day.
- We start by agreeing which areas and equipment are in the clean.
- Cooking equipment is switched off and left to cool, and the area is prepared.
- We work from the top down, starting with ceilings and walls.
- The equipment, and the floor and walls around it, are degreased and cleaned.
- We finish with the floors and leave the kitchen ready to use.
Preparing for the visit
- Let us know about parking and loading
- Tell us about access, such as roof hatches, plant rooms, ceilings or locked areas
- Find the previous report, if there is one
Getting a quote
There’s no standard price list, because every site is different. We look at your system first, from pictures or on a visit, then send a fixed quote. To get going, give us a ring on 0345 646 2711 or drop us a line.

What happens if it’s left?
In Green End, deep cleans can be fitted around the kitchen’s quieter times. Leaving it until something goes wrong tends to mean a rushed, disruptive clean at the worst possible time. A planned visit to Green End is easier to arrange than an emergency callout.
What you pay depends on the size of the system, the condition it’s in and how easy it is to reach. You get a fixed price before work begins, so you know where you stand.

What affects the quote in Green End
The survey tells us what the work involves. We look at:
- A single visit or a regular plan
- Parking and loading at the site
- Whether we need access equipment or extra panels
- The number of sites or systems
When the work has to happen, how we reach it and how big the site is all affect the cost. Each of those is built into the quote and give you a fixed price before any work starts.
What to send for a quote
To help us quote quickly, please include:
- Photos showing the whole system and its surroundings
- The times we could work without disrupting the site
- Anything you’ve noticed, such as smells, noise, drips or poor airflow
- The roof, plant room or outside wall the system runs to
Getting a quote doesn’t take long. Call or email with a few details and you will normally have a fixed price within one working day. If we need to see the system first, we book a survey around your hours.

Between visits
So the system stays in good health:
- Clean the floor edges, not just the middle
- Never cook with the extract switched off
- Clean behind movable equipment regularly
- Keep a cleaning schedule and record it
We put equipment back where it belongs, ready for your staff to check and start up. Nothing special is needed after that from then on.
Small spills that bake on become hard deposits. Regular deep cleans clear them before they harden and protects the surfaces.
What staff can safely do
Logging matters as much as cleaning. A simple log of filter washes, wipe-downs and checks helps show that the system is managed between specialist visits, next to our reports.
Good housekeeping makes our visits easier, not unnecessary. Clean filters and tidy surfaces slow the build-up, but the parts you can’t see still need a specialist at the right interval.
