About our kitchen deep cleaning in Ascot
A good daily routine keeps the surfaces clean, but it does not reach everything. Grease collects behind ranges, under fryers, on high walls and across ceilings. Our deep clean goes after every one of those areas in one planned visit. Typical jobs include food debris that could attract pests and a whole-kitchen clean while the extract is cleaned, on behind and under equipment, walls and ceilings and fryers and grills.
Rural kitchens may drain to a septic tank or a private drain rather than straight into a public sewer, so keeping fat out with a working grease trap matters even more.
The paperwork matters as much as the work. Each visit is written up with photos, listing what was done, anything we couldn’t reach and when the next visit is due. Keep it with your fire safety records so it’s ready for an insurer, fire officer or EHO.

Part by part
Walls and ceilings
Grease and steam rise and settle on walls and ceilings. We clean them from the top down so nothing drips onto clean areas.
School and care home kitchens
Kitchens serving residents or patients need to keep cooking. Visits are timed between meals or overnight.
Multi-site and managed buildings
From a single site to a large estate, you get the same standard: a survey first, a fixed quote, the work timed around the site and a report with photos.
Keeping records across a portfolio is half the battle. Each visit produces a dated report with pictures, ready to show insurers, fire officers or EHOs.
Leave it or put it right?
Grease on walls, ceilings and equipment is fuel close to the cooking. The longer it’s left, the more there is, alongside the grease in the extract. Deep cleaning removes it. In a small place like Ascot, a system that fails can take a site out of use.
A single site or a whole portfolio, we price it on the same basis: the work involved, the access and the timing. The price is fixed before work begins.
Why choose Duct Doctor in Ascot
- Accredited under CHAS and SafeContractor, with ISO 9001
- Ventilation hygiene specialists since 2009
- Full insurance on every job
- Each visit written up, with photos
Looking after it afterwards
Looking after the system between visits is straightforward, and it makes the next visit easier:
- Wipe splashes before they harden
- Repair worn surfaces that trap grime
- Keep the extract running while you cook
- Pair kitchen deep cleans with extract cleans
When we leave, the kitchen is ready to cook. We go round the kitchen with you to check everything is as agreed.
Small spills that bake on become hard deposits. Keeping on top of them with deep cleans saves effort and protects the surfaces.
Your questions about kitchen deep cleaning in Ascot
Can you get to a site in Ascot?
Yes, we work in villages as well as towns, and Ascot is covered. Just mention lanes, gates or anything else about the site when you book.
Do you work at weekends in Ascot?
Yes, we can come after you close and finish before you open. Your customers, staff or residents in Ascot needn’t be disturbed. Your opening times are the first thing we ask for.
What paperwork should we keep on file?
Every certificate and report from each visit, filed in the maintenance log, along with your own cleaning log. BESA advises that certificates record the date, location and technician.
Can you look after several sites?
Yes. Tell us the addresses and what each needs and we’ll quote them together.
Do you move heavy equipment to clean behind it?
That’s often where it’s dirtiest, so it’s a priority. We will agree what’s movable before any work starts.
What does TR19 mean?
TR19® is the BESA specification for keeping ventilation systems clean. Since 2019, TR19® Grease has been a standalone specification for grease in kitchen extract systems, and TR19® Air covers general supply and extract systems.
What do you do to protect the area?
We start with protection: sheeting over floors, worktops and anything close to the work. We tidy up and take our waste away before we leave.
Which areas does a deep clean cover?
A deep clean covers the areas daily cleaning misses, from high walls and ceilings to the floor under the range. Equipment is cleaned inside and out.
Honest limits
Kitchen deep cleaning cannot fix everything, and we will tell you before work begins. It doesn’t solve:
- An infestation that needs specialist treatment
- Drainage problems beyond the kitchen
- Grease in the ducts above the kitchen
If you are not sure, just call 0345 646 2711, or email photos and we will give you a straight answer before you book.
Where we work
- Fryers and grills
- Walls and ceilings
- Ranges and ovens
- Behind and under equipment
- Stainless steel surfaces
- Floors and floor drains
What staff can safely do
Away from the kitchen, the in-house job is mainly checking: keeping grilles clear, noting unusual noise or smells and logging filter changes. The inside of ducts and units needs a specialist.
Some jobs should never be done in-house: entering ducts, working on fans, testing dampers and taking grease readings need training, the right equipment and safe access. Leave those to us.

How the visit works
Your trading hours come first. We book the visit for a time the area is closed, whether that’s an evening, overnight or a weekend. Once we’re in, the area is sheeted and anything that has to be off is turned off and cooled, and the work takes several hours, depending on the kitchen and the equipment in it. Photos of the system and how to reach it help us plan a visit to Ascot.
- We agree the scope of the clean and the time to attend.
- Equipment is switched off and allowed to cool.
- High-level surfaces, walls and the canopy exterior are cleaned.
- We clean the equipment and the hidden areas around it.
- We finish the floors and walk round with you.
How to prepare
- Allow time for equipment near the work to be turned off and cool down
- Let us know about parking and loading
- Have your last certificate or report to hand
Ask for a quote
Quotes are quick. Send a few details and pictures, and we typically reply with a fixed quote within one working day. Where a survey is needed, we arrange a time that suits the site.
