Supply ductwork

We check supply ducts at intervals along each run to see where cleaning is needed.

Extract ductwork

Extract ducts take air out of toilets, washrooms and general areas. They collect dust, lint and fibres and slowly narrow.

About our ventilation duct cleaning in Hook Park Estate

Every clean ends with a TR19® certificate and a photo report. The report lists what we cleaned, any sections not reached and a recommended next inspection, giving the ventilation a clean bill of health on paper. If you have stuffy rooms and stale air and ventilation full of debris from building work, we can help, from supply ductwork, general extract ductwork and hospitals and care homes onwards.

In a village or hamlet like Hook Park Estate, few buildings have mechanical ventilation, but where it’s fitted, it needs the same inspection and cleaning as anywhere.

We’ve been trading since 2009, as a BESCA Vent Hygiene Elite member, cleaning to BESA TR19® Grease. CHAS, SafeContractor and ISO 9001 are in place too, and we are fully insured.

The process

Your trading hours come first. Most visits are booked for when the area is out of use, such as evenings, overnight, early mornings or weekends. Once we’re in, the area is sheeted and anything that has to be off is turned off and cooled, and the job takes a shift or two for a small system, longer for a whole building. We agree a date with you, plan the drive to Hook Park Estate and turn up when the site is quiet.

  1. First we check the layout and any past paperwork.
  2. We inspect the ducts at chosen points to see where cleaning is needed.
  3. We cover the area below and turn off the system.
  4. We clean the system and remove the debris from site.
  5. The report records what was cleaned, anything not reached and a next inspection date.

Preparing for the visit

  • Make sure equipment near the work can be switched off and left to cool
  • Let us know about parking and loading
  • Clear loose items from the work area

Getting a quote

FAQs for Hook Park Estate

Can you come to Hook Park Estate after we close?

Yes, out-of-hours work is a big part of what we do. That way a site in Hook Park Estate does not have to lose a day’s trading. Just call us on 0345 646 2711, or email photos with your opening times and we’ll plan around them.

Can you do ventilation duct cleaning in Hook Park Estate?

Yes, Hook Park Estate is covered. You can call us on 0345 646 2711 or send us an email and let us know what needs doing.

Are you insured?

Yes. We carry full insurance, and we’ve been trading since 2009.

Yes, any time. For anything urgent, such as a fan failure or damage after a fire, ring the 24/7 line and we will talk you through the next steps.

How do you protect the area?

Protection goes down first: sheeting over floors, worktops and anything close to the work. We tidy up and take our waste away before we leave.

Will you look at the ducts before quoting?

Yes. Every job is surveyed first, from photos, drawings or a site visit, and then quote a fixed price.

Do you clean grilles and diffusers?

Yes, along with the ducts behind them. They show up in the photo report before and after.

How much notice do you need?

The more notice, the better, especially for out-of-hours work. We typically quote within one working day, and emergencies are covered by our 24/7 line.

What ventilation duct cleaning cannot fix

We’d rather tell you now than book work that will not help, so here are the limits:

  • Controls and BMS faults that affect the system
  • Cooking extract ducts, which are a separate specialist clean

If in doubt, call us on 0345 646 2711 or send us an email and we’ll say what we think.

Keeping the system healthy

Results last longer with the right care. We suggest:

  • Protect the system from construction dust
  • Keep to the inspection interval in your report
  • File each ventilation report with the building records
  • Tell your facilities team about dirty diffusers

The report lists the sections we cleaned and any we couldn’t reach, with pictures before and after. We’ll suggest where new access panels would help.

Do not let construction dust into the ventilation by switching it off or covering the grilles.

What affects the quote in Hook Park Estate

Sites vary more than people expect. What affects the quote:

  • Whether we need access equipment or extra panels
  • Any permits to work or inductions
  • The condition of the system
  • The number of sites or systems

The cost depends on how big the system is, what state it’s in and access to every part of it. You get a fixed price before any work starts, so you know where you stand.

Helping us quote

Before you ask for a quote, gather:

  • Any previous report or certificate
  • The postcode and the type of business
  • Any access panels or hatches you can see
  • Photos showing the whole system and its surroundings

To get a fixed quote, ring 0345 646 2711 or use the quote form and tell us the type of site, your opening hours and roughly what the system looks like. A few pictures and your last certificate or report help a lot. You will normally have a quote within one working day.
