Kitchen deep cleaning for kitchens and businesses in Marlow Common

A deep clean is the kitchen’s full treatment. The hidden corners get as much attention as the obvious ones and leave the kitchen ready to cook. From there, the daily routine is easier to keep up. Common call-outs are for floors with grease along the edges and a new kitchen tenant inheriting a dirty kitchen, on stainless steel surfaces, walls and ceilings and fryers and grills.

In a village or hamlet like Marlow Common, commercial kitchens are few, perhaps a pub, a school or a care home. Wherever there is one, it needs its grease trap and hard-to-reach areas kept clean.

We are CHAS and SafeContractor accredited, we hold ISO 9001 and we are fully insured. We’re also a BESCA Vent Hygiene Elite member, cleaning to BESA TR19® Grease, trading since 2009.

What affects the quote in Marlow Common

Every site gets its own quote. These are the things that affect it:

  • The condition of the system
  • Site requirements such as sign-in and permits
  • Where the site is and how we reach it
  • Access, including roofs, risers and ceiling voids

A single site or a whole portfolio, we price it on the same basis: what needs doing, how we get to it and when. The price is fixed before work begins.

Asking for a quote

We can often survey from photos. Try to include:

  • Anything you’ve noticed, such as smells, noise, drips or poor airflow
  • The postcode and the type of business
  • Where the plant sits or the system leaves the building, such as a roof or outside wall
  • The times we could work without disrupting the site

Photos are enough for some jobs, while others need a look on site. Larger sites, and anything hidden behind walls, ceilings or floors, are normally surveyed first. Either way, the quote is fixed before any work is booked.

What kitchen deep cleaning cannot fix

We will always give you a straight diagnosis, so here’s what this work cannot put right:

  • Cracked tiles or damaged wall cladding
  • Pests already in the kitchen
  • Equipment that isn’t working properly

Not sure which it is? You can call 0345 646 2711, or email photos and we will tell you honestly before you book.

Parts of the system we cover

  • Floors and floor drains
  • Fryers and grills
  • Stainless steel surfaces
  • Behind and under equipment
  • Walls and ceilings
  • Ranges and ovens

Leave it or put it right?

Grease on walls, ceilings and equipment is fuel close to the cooking. Leaving it adds to the fire risk in the kitchen on top of what’s in the ductwork. A deep clean takes it away. Rural sites cannot always move to another kitchen or room when something fails.

When the work has to happen, how we reach it and how big the site is can all change the price. Each of those is built into the quote and give you a fixed price before work begins.

How the visit works

Every visit runs to the same pattern: sheeting and protection first, isolate whatever needs isolating, do the work, tidy up and hand over the paperwork. On site, the work takes anything from a few hours to a full night, depending on the size of the kitchen. Rural roads and tight entrances are worth telling us about before a visit to Marlow Common.

  1. First, we agree what’s being cleaned and when.
  2. Equipment is switched off and allowed to cool.
  3. High-level surfaces, walls and the canopy exterior are cleaned.
  4. Equipment is cleaned, along with the areas behind and under it.
  5. We finish the floors and walk round with you.

Getting ready for the visit

  • Dig out any earlier paperwork for the system
  • Let us know when the site is closed or quiet
  • Arrange a key holder or contact on site

Get a fixed quote

The quickest way to a quote is to send pictures: the system from a couple of angles, plus any access panels or hatches. Add the site type and your opening hours, and many jobs can be priced from that alone.

Aftercare tips

Here’s the after-treatment advice, short and simple:

  • Repair worn surfaces that trap grime
  • Clean the floor edges, not just the middle
  • Deal with spills straight away
  • Keep a cleaning log up to date

Floors are clean and dry by the time we have finished. Staff can get straight back to work when the kitchen opens.

A regular plan means build-up never gets out of hand. Pairing them with TR19 extract cleaning covers the room and the system together.

For landlords and multi-site operators

Records are where multi-site compliance often slips. Each visit produces a dated report with pictures, ready to show insurers, fire officers or EHOs.

Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, the responsible person must assess and reduce fire risk, which may be the employer, owner, landlord, FM or managing agent. With shared responsibility, good records help everyone.

Part by part

Walls and ceilings

Walls and ceilings collect grease carried up by heat and steam. They’re cleaned first, working downwards so nothing drips onto clean areas.

Canopy exteriors

Cleaning inside the extract system is a TR19 job. Many kitchens book both together.
