Need ventilation duct cleaning in Liss?

Ventilation duct cleaning for kitchens and businesses in Liss

Dust in ventilation ductwork isn’t only a cleanliness issue. It slows the air, strains the fans and can be blown back out of the grilles. Cleaning restores the clear airway the system was designed with. If you have ductwork with too few access panels to clean and construction dust left in ducts after a refit, we can help.

For a building near Liss, the visit is planned around how it’s used, and the journey is planned ahead. The method doesn’t change: inspect first, clean, then record what was done.

Duct Doctor has been trading since 2009, and we’re a BESCA Vent Hygiene Elite member, cleaning to BESA TR19® Grease. We also hold CHAS, SafeContractor and ISO 9001, and we are fully insured.

The process

The visit has three parts: set-up, the treatment itself and the sign-off. Getting ready means protecting surfaces and switching off what needs to be off, and the sign-off is a written report with photos. Most of the time goes on the work itself, which takes a weekend for a modest system, with large buildings phased floor by floor. Because the survey comes first, a visit to Liss can usually be finished without a second trip.

  1. We agree timings that suit the building, including evenings and weekends.
  2. We open the ductwork through its access panels.
  3. Before photos are taken and the ducts cleaned section by section.
  4. We clean the grilles and diffusers and put them back.
  5. After pictures are taken and the certificate and report issued.

What affects the quote in Liss

The price is fixed before any work begins. It takes into account:

  • The scale of the work
  • How easy every part is to reach
  • Parking and loading at the site
  • The times the site is available

The price reflects the work, not guesswork. That’s why every job is surveyed first, and why the quote is fixed before we start.

What to send for a quote

To speed up the quote, please include:

  • Detail shots of panels, filters and grilles
  • The paperwork from the last visit, if you have it
  • The site address and the type of premises
  • Problems your staff have spotted

Need a price for ventilation duct cleaning? Please ring 0345 646 2711 or send us an email and tell us about the site. We’ll talk you through the work and send you a fixed quote before you commit to anything.

Why deal with it now?

After building work, cleaning the ventilation before people move back in makes sense. Otherwise the dust from the works comes out of the grilles once it’s switched back on. It’s better to plan the work at a site near Liss than wait for a failure.

You will not find a price list here, because each job is priced on what it involves. For a fixed quote, call us on 0345 646 2711 or send us an email, and we will explain what it covers.

What a clean won’t put right

An honest diagnosis matters more to us than a booking, so here’s what ventilation duct cleaning will not do:

  • Leaks from roofs, pipes or walls into the ductwork
  • Grease in kitchen extract systems, cleaned to TR19® Grease instead
  • Building management settings that run the plant

Not sure which it is? You can ring 0345 646 2711, or email photos and we’ll tell you honestly before you book.

What the work covers

  • Hospitals and care homes
  • General extract ductwork
  • Toilet extract systems
  • Grilles and diffusers
  • Offices and schools

Multi-site and managed buildings

Keeping records across a portfolio is half the battle. Each visit produces a dated report with pictures, ready to show insurers, fire officers or EHOs.

From a single site to a large estate, you get the same standard: diagnosis, a fixed price, work booked around your hours and a written report with photos.

What the work involves, part by part

Grilles and diffusers

Grilles and diffusers that are designed to come out are removed for cleaning, then put back.

Schools and colleges

We plan the work around the school calendar, with access agreed with the caretaker or site manager.

Many buildings of this kind have supply and extract ductwork that gathers dust and needs inspecting. Petersfield Community Hospital is the nearest hospital, about 3.6 miles south-west of Liss. Common questions in Liss

Is Liss within the area you cover?

Yes, Liss is part of our area, however small the site. Photos of the system and directions to the site help us plan the visit.

Can the work in Liss be done at night or at weekends?

Yes, out-of-hours work is a big part of what we do. Your customers, staff or residents in Liss needn’t be disturbed. Let us know the hours you’re closed and we’ll book within them.

What is TR19?

BESA’s ventilation hygiene specification, with two parts that matter most here: TR19® Grease for kitchen extracts and TR19® Air for supply and extract systems. It is not law, but it’s the benchmark.

Which accreditations do you hold?

We are a BESCA Vent Hygiene Elite member, cleaning to BESA TR19® Grease. We also hold CHAS, SafeContractor and ISO 9001, and we are fully insured.

What do you do with what you remove?

Anything we remove is contained as we work and taken away with us, from grease and debris to used cleaning water. None of it is left on site.

Do you work with multi-site operators?

Yes. Send the list of sites and the work at each and we will quote them together.

Do you survey the system first?

Yes. We always survey first, on site or from photos and drawings, and then quote a fixed price.

Is a quote from photos possible?

Typically, yes. Send wide shots, close-ups of any access panels and anything that worries you, and we typically come back within one working day. Some sites still need a visit, and we will say so.

Looking after it afterwards

How long the results last depends on use and care. Here’s what we suggest:

  • Watch for water stains around grilles
  • Keep grilles and diffusers dusted
  • Stick to the filter change schedule
  • Make sure nothing is stacked against extract grilles

The report includes a recommended date for the next inspection, based on what we found. Put it in the diary now so it does not slip.

Keep filters changed on time. Overloaded or poorly seated filters let dust straight through.
