About our ventilation duct cleaning in Enton Green
Extract ducts from toilets, changing rooms and general areas collect dust and lint. Supply ducts carry anything the filters miss. We clean both, keeping the work tidy and the building protected. The work covers hospitals and care homes, offices and schools and toilet extract systems, and the jobs we see most are ventilation full of debris from building work and systems with no record of inspection or cleaning.
In a village or hamlet like Enton Green, few buildings have mechanical ventilation, but those that do need it inspected and cleaned like any other.
A written report with pictures follows each visit, so you have a record of what was done and when. Where the work is a TR19® Grease clean, the certificate is issued through the BESCA Vent Hygiene Elite portal.

Offices and retail
Shared systems in multi-let buildings need access to several areas. Access is agreed with the building manager.
Hospitals and care homes
In care settings, keeping dust contained is a priority. We protect the work area and take everything away.

Your questions about ventilation duct cleaning in Enton Green
Can you get to a site in Enton Green?
Yes, smaller places are covered as well as towns. Just mention lanes, gates or anything else about the site when you book.
Do you work at weekends in Enton Green?
Yes, out-of-hours work is a big part of what we do. That way a site in Enton Green doesn’t have to lose a day’s trading. Let us know the hours you’re closed and we’ll book within them.
Does the law say we must follow TR19?
No. The law sets the duty, and TR19® is the recognised benchmark for meeting it. Under the Fire Safety Order 2005, the responsible person must reduce fire risk, and without records, many insurers may refuse or reduce a claim.
What information do you need?
Only a few details: the address, the site type, your opening hours and how we reach the system. Photos and any previous paperwork make it quicker. Then call us on 0345 646 2711 or drop us a line.
How often do ventilation ducts need cleaning?
Under TR19® Air, the answer comes from inspecting the ducts. Heavily used buildings, or those with vulnerable occupants, may need attention more often.
What’s TR19?
TR19® is the BESA specification for keeping ventilation systems clean. Since 2019, TR19® Grease has been a standalone specification for grease in kitchen extract systems, while TR19® Air covers other supply and extract ductwork.
Do you survey before quoting?
Yes, always. Diagnosis comes before treatment: the survey tells us what the system needs and how to reach it and the fixed quote is built on it.
Do you inspect before cleaning?
Yes. TR19® Air is inspection-led, so we look inside the ducts at set points, with pictures of the inside. Cleaning is recommended where it’s needed.

What your team can do, and what needs us
When your team notices a problem between visits, such as dripping grease, a noisy fan, a smell or a filter that won’t come clean, they should report it rather than try to fix it. We can diagnose it and quote.
Some jobs should never be done in-house: opening up ductwork, cleaning fans, drop testing fire dampers and measuring grease call for the right kit, training and safe access. Leave those to us.
Between visits
Good habits slow the build-up between visits. Our tips:
- Keep filters changed on time
- Keep the TR19 certificate and photo report in the maintenance log
- Report dust blowing from grilles straight away
- Switch the ventilation off or cover grilles during dusty building work
We recommend when the system should next be inspected, based on what we found. Diary it straight away so it doesn’t slip.
Fix leaks and damp near the ductwork quickly, as moisture makes dust stick.
Fixed quotes for ventilation duct cleaning in Enton Green
There’s no set price list, because no two systems are the same. What we look at:
- A single visit or a regular plan
- Whether we need access equipment or extra panels
- How big the system is
- The condition we find in the survey
When the work has to happen, how we reach it and how big the site is can all change the price. Each of those is built into the quote, and the price is fixed before we start.
Asking for a quote
Before you ask for a quote, gather:
- The site address and the type of premises
- Close-ups of filters, grilles, hatches or access panels
- Any previous report or certificate
- A few general shots of the system
There’s no standard price list, because every site is different. Instead, we look at your site first, from photos or a survey, and then give you a fixed quote. To get going, call 0345 646 2711, or email photos.
When it’s something else
Not every problem is solved by ventilation duct cleaning, and we will tell you before we start. It won’t put right:
- Building management settings that run the plant
- Damp or mould problems coming from the building fabric
- Kitchen extract ductwork, which needs a TR19® Grease clean
If you’re not sure, just call us on 0345 646 2711, or email photos and we’ll give you a straight answer.
Parts of the system we cover
- Hospitals and care homes
- Offices and schools
- Supply ductwork
- Grilles and diffusers
- General extract ductwork
- Toilet extract systems
The process
We turn up at the time agreed with you, which is often after service, overnight or at a weekend. Equipment that has to be off is switched off and allowed to cool first, and floors and nearby surfaces are sheeted. The work itself takes a day or less for a small system and a series of visits for a large one. Rural roads and tight entrances are worth telling us about before a visit to Enton Green.
- We agree timings that suit the building, including evenings and weekends.
- We open the ductwork through its access panels.
- We photograph the ducts, then clean each section in turn.
- Grilles and diffusers are cleaned and refitted.
- After photos are taken and the certificate and report issued.
Before we arrive
- Plan for cooking equipment or plant to be off before we arrive
- Dig out any earlier paperwork for the system
- Let us know about permits to work or site inductions
Getting a quote
Quoting starts with a diagnosis, from your photos and details or, where that is not enough, a survey on site. After that, you get a fixed price for the work so you know the cost before work begins.
